Schaudt Elektroblock EBL 100

Description

This is a charger/power supply and 12V distribution unit used mainly in motorhomes. It needs to be paired with a Schaudt control panel - usually one from the DT or IT series.  Often fitted to Hymer vehicles

Typical Faults and Symptoms

• No output from the charger
• Battery goes flat and system switches off
• No 'mains on' symbol on control panel (Note: this symbols actually indicate charger is switched on NOT mains is connected)
• Fridge and/or split charger not working whilst driving
• Cannot switch 12V outputs on
• Burned out pins on front

User Self Diagnosis

Ensure comms cable between EBL and control panel is OK (see our guide)
Ensure there is mains power to the IEC lead
Remove connectors and inspect for burned pins and/or ones that have opened up
If unit will not switch on - ensure you have 0V/Earth on Block 2 pin 2 and 12V on Block 2 pin 5

Ordering Information

You need to send both the EBL unit and Control Panel as the root cause is often on a different unit to the part that the fault is showing on. This will ensure we can test all your units together and ensure we return you a working system.
